Thought I would try to do some comedy with a stop motion exercise for my graphics class at USF. This is a very educational project that allowed me to take a lot out of it with very little investment of materials, and the class and teacher thought it was cute. I counted it as a success.

We never did a puppet movie before, so when we drew comedy horror at a 30-day film challenge, we thought we would just run with the puppets and see what we got. It was a fun experiment and a grueling shoot in the middle of summer.

From the 1980s comic book Heavy Metal. We tried our best to bring the comic infantryman to life with 2D animation. Animation is complete we're just waiting for scoring. This is the automatic.

A 30-day film challenge. First time using harmony, we were able to complete 13 minutes of animation in 30 days. We did not have time to do a second or third pass for cleanup, but it was a good proof of concept for what we could get done with cut-out animation.
